Upwards development of 12No new hybrid timber/steel frame on an existing block of flats on Tottenham Lane. This project consists of the removal of the existing timber roof structure and installation of a steel frame with timber frame infill panels. The project runs over two new floors with 6 flats on the lower floor and 6 flats within a mansard roof. Superstructure was completed within 10 weeks including insulation, vapour control and internal service batten. Walls and roof both achieving 0.1 w/m2k, walls utilising 140mm timber studs, fully filed with poly-urethane insulation and overboarded with 65mm Celotex boards, the roof used 250mm polyurethane insulation between timber joists. Passive purple vapour control layer is installed on inside face of insulation.
